The item should be individually wrapped based on the shape and size.
Put the item in the center of a box and ensure it doesn't touch the sides.
The extra spaces should be filled with some packing papers (fillers) to help soften the collision impact in the box.

Always wrap each item individually and separate it with corrugated inserts or other divider materials to avoid damage.
For example, 5 cups must be wrapped separately before gathering in a box.
Finally, remember to add a fragile sticker on the package.

Filling materials such as PE foam or bubble wrap within the box to avoid items clashing during transit.
Shake the box/courier bag to ensure the item is fixed and didn't move.

Safety

Use a suitable size of packaging material to pack items of similar size.
Under-filled boxes may collapse, and over-filled boxes may burst.
For the over-filled box, it can separate the item into a different box or move to a bigger box.
To overcome an under-filled box, it can be filled with some bubble wrap, PE foam, newspaper as filler to fill the empty gap or space within the box.
The box or packaging should be strong enough to hold the weight of the items during transit.

Reuse / Recycle

Recycle materials such as unused boxes can be used to pack your items/goods while, PE foam and bubble wrap (in a usable condition) can be used for inner filling to avoid wastage.
Remove all other labels such as an old address, cover the dangerous goods labels/indicator and stickers from the recycle box to prevent confusion during transit.

Type Of Packaging

The first packaging a customer is going to see. Outer packaging protects the product from the elements. It includes the box that the product is shipped in.

Inner packaging keeps the product nestled safely or provides impact protection to the outer packaging. This might be packing peanuts to prevent getting jostled or scuffed.

Product packaging is what most people think of when they think of packaging. it's the box the toy comes in, the bottle with a label, the tag on a garment, and the wrapper of a candy bar.
